Why I Got a HereAfter Vault

You know how people say, ‘Tomorrow isn’t promised’? Well, it’s really true. Just today, I ended a call with my daughter with a quick ‘Love you’. It got me thinking, what if those were my last words to her? So, I did something big. I got a HereAfter Vault.

We don’t like to think about it, but we never know what might happen. I hated the idea of leaving my daughter without something special from me. That’s why I chose the Vault. It’s my way of making sure my last words to her are full of love, just in case.

Figuring out what to put in my Vault was easy. I started with a lullaby I used to sing to my kids. Recording it felt like giving them a forever hug. Then, I wrote a letter. It was hard to start, but then it got easier. Now, my vault has that letter, the lullaby, and our favorite family photo. It’s like a love capsule for ‘just in case’. And I’m going to keep adding to it.

Setting it up was easy, and it feels good to have it. If something happens to me, this Vault is my legacy. As a mom who’s seen a lot, I think this is something we all should think about. It’s not scary. It’s about caring, being sensible, and feeling relieved. Our stories are important and keeping them for our loved ones is one of the best things we can do.
